Therapy gives us a chance to have a different experience than we do in our daily lives. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the self and understand why we are who we are, and how we can be in relationship with others. I believe that every person deserves to be heard, felt, and cared for.
My practice is guided by Rogerian person-centered theory, with a healthy dash of sensorimotor somatic experience and a dollop of psychodynamic approach mixed in.
Earlier in my life, I spent a lot of time talking to people about politics and policy in Washington, DC and Minnesota.
I spend my free time walking around the District with my dog and taking photographs of interesting things. And other dogs.
If you’d like to connect, send me a note and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
